Groundswell International helps farmers connect with each other to share best practices in 9 countries around the world. They strengthen rural communities to build healthy farming and food systems from the bottom up.

Supporting Local Food, Local Farms and Greenways in WNC, Cycle to Farm, an event where riders visit local farms by bicycle along greenways, added nearly $50,000 to the local economy in its first year.

Connect Buncombe is the Buncombe County Government's outreach and involvement campaign for the greenways program. The goal of Connect Buncombe is to make citizens aware of the beneficial impacts greenways will have on the county.
